Spyderco para 3
Screw a knife with a serated edge
Got one automatic that's several years old. Been back 2x for free service/sharpening.
Gerard knife, but sadly it's been replaced with a big Leatherman.

Williams.
Yes they are. Customer service and lifesharp guarantee is top notch. I own two, three if you count the HK made by Benchmade and love them all.

I went to Cabelas and looked today. I walked out with the same knife that I walked in with. Haven't settled on anything yet. Liked the Spyderco, but didn't love the way you unlock it. I really liked the Benchmade knives I held, but honestly I was most impressed with the ZT Les George. I will have to do some more research before I dive into a $180 pocket knife.
I got online to look at the Spyderco offerings. Damn, that list takes a while to get through but, I really like that Rubicon. May have to order one of those.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013

Hard to beat a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 for a great, solid, all around knife. If carries smaller than it is, but is stout enough for some serious work.
The Benchmades are great knives too and the mini grips are a great knife for the money.
I'm a fan of Benchmade. Exceptional company with outstanding warranty and quality.
One to consider is the Casbah. Its an auto opener. I like it for one handed operation. It locks open and closed. Good pocket size for EDC. Holds an edge and easy to sharpen.
I use mine everyday, although it has to stay in my pocket on the water. Its backup is a Dexter Russel fish knife. Carbon steel, beechwood handle and about the same size. Its a sheath knife tho.
Trouble is, they both sink. If I drop the Benchmade its $175 to replace. If I drop the Dexter its 20 bucks.
Pain is inevitable! Suffering is optional.
If your knife keeps an edge more than a month, you need to take it outta your pocket sometime!
