Check with field quarter, he'll be up north in Alberta then drop into the panhandle of TX. Tx is unreal this time of yr. Pm if you want his contact, I'm sure he'd be happy to point you in the right direction. Cranes and geese mostly in Texas all season but once the mallards arrive you can essentially pick what you want

If I'm paying to hunt with any guide it's going to be me tipping a bird boy in Mexico.

I know it’s not one of the states you listed. But I had a great time at Grosse Savanne in Louisiana. Top notch food/drinks/ guides were great.

Never been there, but I hear a lot of good stuff about White Oaks Duck Woods in near Augusta AR.

Went to Obregon in Sonora for years until it was too unsafe to travel. It was spectacular - where did you go Nitro?

Missouri Mallards in the Bootheel of Missouri (Gobler, MO)

I lease a field with the guides brother out there, in my opinion that area is the best bang for your buck. $150/day per gun to hunt and $175/2 bed room in a very nice lodge-Elk Chute Lodge. PM me for more details, it's been a tough season but we've still been managing to kill limits.

I'm pretty sure that White Oak is a very private and exclusive club from what i've heard. I may be wrong but I don't believe any average joe can go pay to hunt there.

He will tell you this is the worst season in 22 years. He has been doing very well after the thaw.

We used to have a house on the Colorado river on the matagorda peninsula. Always a ton of birds in that area late season. I’ve never hunted with them but heard good things. We used circle H outfitters a few times when we went back to visit and they are top notch for what you pay. I think it was $175/person no lodging but includes birds being cleaned and the morning hunt.

I'll ask the question here since y'all were talking about it a couple months ago...I'm looking for a trip to Canada this fall most likely late October. Anyone have any recommendations on outfitters? I've never done the trip up there before so looking for a full service outfitter. I'm not particular about a certain province, just for a top notch experience.

Be careful using American guides up there. You can easily find yourself indicted, sometimes years after the fact, and facing serious fines in a foreign country...

I would also add my friend Eric Guggenheim at Ranger Creek Guide service in TX to the list.

Hard to go wrong with Hackberry Rod and Gun in SW LA. The Stansel brothers will take good care of you.
