    Default AR gurus

If a fella were to want to build an AR (actually upgrade would be a more proper term), and had a Smith and Wesson M & P sport now (for the lower) and found a killer deal on a psa midlength upper could the two be compatible? The m&p is carbine length.

    Yup.

    Should slap right on there.

Edit: FWIW, PSA on Clemson Rd. has a stack of M4 slick-side barreled uppers for $149. (No BCG/CH.)

Push 2 pins and you’re in business.

The only thing you might decide to do at some point would be to install a heavier buffer to slightly soften the recoil, but it's not necessary.

I'd highly recommend you install one of the PSA EPT triggers when you can get one on sale for $29.95. You will feel an immediate improvement in the trigger pull.
