    Talked with some guys that apparently don't have to work during duck season and they too said it was good midweek but said 99% of ducks have left our area due to all shallow water being iced over for 3-4 days in a row. Georgia and Florida are probably seeing numbers they haven't seen in years.

    I’ll never understand drawing attention to yourself when you’re killing ducks.

    It will forever boggle my mind as to why folks need to blast to 20k strangers “hey man the hunting is great, come on out and join us.”


    Great hunt.
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    Good friend of mine is in Florida and they killed them on permit hunts.

    I have see. More birds on neighborhood ponds with a 50x50 hole in the middle this week than ever. There’s birds here but we are losing them with all this ice! Seen lessers, a goldy, and some redheads today. Last time I killed any of those birds was in my Texas days!
