Don't think there is a public one b/n 20 and 378. Only ones I know of are Patriots off Hwy 1 and Billy Tollar on 378.

The public ramp on Hwy 1 is only a hop, skip, and jump upriver from I20.

If you can walk on water, that is.

It's like the most aggravating stretch of the river though. The way the water has been as of late you'd need a shallow running boat or have to know the river. Monday morning the pipeline was exposed, they were supposed to begin work on it in September.. It ain't happened yet. But it is, it's right there. There are a few private ramps up and down, but that's it for public.

I may look a bit like Sunday School Jesus, but I've never figured out the water walking part without a bunch of beers and a ski boat.

I'm not sure where your getting your info from but my company was the prime contractor on the project for palmetto utilities. The pipe is sitting on solid rock and will not be put any deaper I can promise. There was about 2 foot of sand then solid rock under neath the sand.

If you're talking about where they're planning to dump Richland county's poop then I was told the same thing as what you said.

Right at 20 is the sewer line, upstream past the islands is a natural gas pipeline. It crosses the river, and the rocks are exposed through any low water.
