Unless you just want it fixed, I've been rolling with a motor like that for 8+ years now. I broke off portions of both sides, along with part of the skeg on my 25 2 stroke Yamaha.

I️ think there is a “bolt on” repair you can get at a marine shop or online.

Take it to The Prop Shop in west Columbia... They are worth the trip.

10-4 appreciate it. It doesn’t really bother me just don’t like rolling around with broken shit and figured it would be a cheap fix

Hell no. I didn’t know it was gone until I trailered it and went to put the bungee around the motor. Literally had to idle for roughly 2 miles of 2-3” ice prop was constantly beating off chunks, no telling where it came off.

Stop by the shop and one of my guys there can knock it out. You have been by and purchased something before, right?

I did the exact same to my motor about 4-5 years back. Mine was a result of backing into a stump and the prop bending just enough to clip the trim tab anode when put into fowarded gear. The prop shaft was bent as well. I contacted my insurance agent and they covered it. I ended up with an entire new lower unit and prop for my deductible of only $250. So if you have insurance might not be a bad idea to reach out.

I did that about five years ago on my first 40 Yamaha. I was changing the water pump and couldn't get the unit to drop. It was corroded pretty bad, so I started womping on it with a deadblow. Broke the plate almost exactly where you did, which is when I realized there was another bolt under the anode...
