Mincemeat Pie?

Anybody have a good recipe? Specifically a venison pie.

Don't have a mincemeat pie recipe with actual meat in it... We always made them with various fruits.

I've used this recipe and it always pleases. Dub venison for beef.

While that looks great L.B. the pie I am looking for is a sweet pie. Fruits and nuts with venison. It is the only thing my Aunt can make. It is awesome. I just never get too see her on the holidays much.

Copy that, I've never seen the two combined. The "mince meat" I've always seen was just fruit and nuts. Sounds interesting.

Could you add the meat to a jar of mincemeat any use that? I made my mincemeat pie and hard sauce yesterday along with 8 pecan pies.
