    Default Cell Phone Services

Anyone in the Upstate area use MetroPCS or T-Mobile cell service?

My phone is on it's last legs and I'm not sure I want to stick with Verizon. Their packages are more expensive and the coverage isn't what it used to be, at least here at home. They have a tower a 1/2 mile up the road and I have to be in the second floor office, or outdoors to have a conversation.

    Time to re-evaluate.

My wife has T-Mobile and loves it... We live a mile from the Greenville/Anderson county line.

I have Verizon and would say my service is as good or better...

Sheep only place I have ever lost coverage with Verizon is crossing the river. Was a dead spot forever, for some reason it's not anymore.

Not sure what that question has to do with anything, but browsing is not an issue here. Coverage, service and plan pricing is.

    Thanks for asking, though.

We booted verizon almost 2 years ago and switched to straight talk. Save a shit ton of money and can't complain about the coverage!

I tried to call Verizon CS a little while ago while sitting at the kitchen table so they could measure the signal strength and talk to them about a booster, and the call got dropped before I was on the line more than about 30 seconds.

It's worse in the last month or two for both my wife's phone and mine than it's ever been. VZ either has problems they aren't admitting to, or they're cutting their coverage strengths for whatever reason. I guess I ought to poll some of my neighbors to see if they're seeing similar problems.

As usual in 95%+ of your posts, you have nothing to offer of any value. Why don't you go snort some of your white powder or something and save us all from your little girl games?

ziggy, it makes no sense in upgrading phones until I know what service and plan I decide on, now does it? Or is it your strategy to just buy the prettiest phone you see and then get the service that matches it?
