My wife and I had to be in Kingstree earlier this week for a family event. While it would have normally been a very gloomy trip, the cloud of darkness was lifted by getting to watch our Chocolate lab, Moose, crush his first Master Hunter test. He passed all three series as one of the youngest dogs there. I believe Rhett earned 8 or 9 master passes all together.

Thanks to Cooper River Retriever Club for hosting a random, mid-week master test.

Beyond excellent genetics and natural talent, getting to this point is in large part thanks to Rhett Riddle and the staff at Bay Creek Kennels. Moose has been in Rhett's training program for the past year and continues to exceed expectations. If you have a lab (or Boykin, Rhett loves Boykins) and want to extract every ounce of ability out of it, I encourage you to send them to Hartsville.

Can't wait for Spring Test season to roll around and earn that invite to Oregon for the MN. Hopefully I don't screw him up between now and then
