This is not a good thing. Especially for cable cutters.

It isn't if you are a socialist.
This goes well beyond party lines. I am hardcore republican but I do not agree with this.
Basically now if you have att internet but not cable, they can choose to slow down your speed to slingtv. This would basically cut out the internet tv users.

I read about this more than most political issues in recent months.
It looks to me, and I would love to be wrong, that we just handed over control of internet access to large TV, internet, and media companies. I have never met anyone who said they had a good customer experience with Comcast or Uverse or any cable provider. I think we just handed them the keys.
I hope that is right.
This is from Fox news:
"The net neutrality regulations imposed utility-style regulation on Internet service providers such as Comcast, AT&T and Verizon to prevent them from favoring their own digital services over their rivals – for instance, by blocking or slowing certain content."
"Smaller tech websites such as Reddit, Kickstarter and Mozilla put dramatic overlays on their sites Tuesday in support of net neutrality. Twitter on Wednesday was promoting #NetNeutrality as a trending topic. Other big tech companies were more muted in their support. "
I have not seen an article explaining where small business wins in this, but I certainly hope to be wrong.
you don't know what the hell you're talking about
Seriously read the news or something you sound ignorant

Is this guy like silentweapons long lost uncle or something?
how so? seems to me ending net neutrality is in fact pretty damn bad for small business. you think the big isp's will prioritize the small guy like scducks or facebook?

FOX News huh. I would take that with a grain of salt.
Gettin old is for pussies! AND MY NEW TRUE people say like Capt. Tom >>>>>>>>>/
"Wow, often imitated but never duplicated. No one can do it like the master. My hat is off to you DRDUCK!"
There has to be a balance between free market and regulation. otherwise, insurance companies would do everything they can to find and excuse to deny claims (more than they already do), banks would trick borrowers into loans that are doomed to failure (more than they already do), and internet and cable providers would not give two shits about customer service, service level agreements, etc. (more than they already do), just as a few examples.
This will hurt everyone except those who hold the keys, like DJP said.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

I'll be the first to say I don't care. I didn't notice a difference when they inacted Net Neutrality and i likely won't notice a difference after.
I'll be killing ducks and shooting clays.
