Here's a good deal on an insulated, waxed cotton jacket with some nice features, including the mid-weight insulation, the suspenders inside, and the snapped flap in the rear, along with a 2-way zipper. I've got one and like it overall.
It is not the 'old wax cotton', but a new non-wax variety that seems to do a good job at waterproofing. There is a bit of a 'sweet' odor to it such that you may have to leave it outside for awhile like I did to air it out, but after that it was fine.
The primary cons are that there are no hand pockets behind the cargo pockets, and the two vertical chest pockets are fine for storage (cell phone, GPS, etc), but they are not easy to get your hand in to unless you've got extra long arms. The insulation is also not removable, if that matters to you.
It makes a very nice cooler weather upland jacket, dog training jacket, or possibly a duck hunting jacket if you're so inclined.
I wouldn't buy it for the full price, but at $130 it's a good deal, IMO.
