Default Sunday - Kid's first hunt

Took my 3 year old little girl out for her first hunt this past Sunday (wifey came along too). She had a ball, but it was cold. Had a tough time keeping her hands warm and the wife's hands warm, so we had to pick up way early. That being said, we did get to kill a couple of birds before we left. Special for me since my dog is 11 years old and you never know when his last hunt is going to be. It's been a dream\wish of mine to see my dog and my little girl hunt in the same blind. Successful mission from that stand point. I heard that the ducks were way better on Saturday. Overall, it was pretty slow for us, but my little girl was having a blast until the cold started to get the best of them. At that point, it was time to go!

And YES, she did have some very nice gloves, but wouldn't keep them on her hands.

    So Awesome.

I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

Yep, and boots with holes in them.

    Nice job with the family.

Good stuff. Get a little buddy heater. It will help stretch out the hunts.

Had one, but couldn't get it lit. Need to tinker with it a bit to see if I can get it working again.

Our options were Red & White or Piggly Wiggly, and they only had paper bags back then. My dad kept cheap trash bags in his truck.
