    Default Wax treatment

Filson hat needs a dose of wax. I found a tin of Filson wax on Amazon for $80, not doing that. Any reason Martexin or Fjallraven Greenland Wax wouldn't do the job?

I think I paid $25 for a can of Barbour wax at orvis. I’ve re waxed my McAllister sweater three times with half of it so far.

I was guessing you may be able to use parrafin, but this is 10 bucks.

A tin of Filson’s wax is $10 just about everywhere on the net. Here’s @ $10 tin http://www.gundogsupply.com/filson-o...xoCtT4QAvD_BwE

i saw a video online where a guy used sno seal on his vest. It's readily available.
