    Default Sitka 2018

    Zippered waders for $950

    Unzippered waders for $850

Five year warranty is what they're saying. Whose buying a pair.

I think I’ll buy 4-5 more pairs of Cabelas breathables which will prob last me about 15-20 years. So no, that price is outrageous for “waders”. And actually they come with a lifetime warranty, but i usually don’t expect them to replace anything after I’ve worn em for years. $950...wtf?

Is there a butt flap?? If so then maybe I'd reconsider. That'd be worth some serious coin.

You've got to properly layer the Sitka stuff. Don't Go full Sitka, it's like going full Guido. It's probably surprising but I've got a bunch of sick to stuff.. there are few things I really like.

I read somewhere that Simms is involved. Don't know if that's accurate or not though.

I've got a good bit of Sitka collected over the years. I've never paid suggested retail for any of it nor would i ever. They are no longer a small company and its been interesting to see how/where the brand goes. First Lite just announced that they are going to a consumer direct model. Consumer direct models are going to force Sitka's hand at some point.

Have some ASAT from First Lite and it may as well be plaid in the woods. They also had to ditch Realtree. CD models will require proprietary camo. Next time I'm up your way I'll bring a rattle can and we can whip up some ASAT camo for ya. Since Sportin apparently wears it, you might be accepted by his band of rough riders that start the next civil war. Could make it as valuable as bitcoin.
