I really can't tell from the photo but I would have say that the blue on the left looks like a blue-phase snow because a blue-phase Ross tends to have blue all the way up the back of the neck.

I rode down to Heathwood Hall this afternoon, about 3:30. Looked in the fields on both sides of the road, up to the guard shack. Never saw them. Maybe they were out on the water, or another field somewhere near by.
