I was cruising through a creek one time doing some duck scouting and had 20-30 deer cross the creek like that on me. Creek was probably 50 yards wide and 10 feet deep. Craziest thing I have ever seen.

That is a great picture. Last year in late December I walked in about a mile to a beaver swamp on public land to duck hunt and found it bone dry. Ended up sitting on the edge of the Enoree river in ankle deep water and saw three different buck/doe chases up and down the river. Managed a pair of woodies eventually but was fairly wondering why I don't try deer hunting areas like that on dry years.

Saw something like that duck hunting on the river a few years back. Basically hopped in the water right in front of me and swam right in front of the boat. Didn't even seem to acknowledge that I was there.

Best part was I didnt have to waste a bullet bc you just grab the rack and dunk their head. Kidding.
