Damn straight. Their equipment was awful. Well lets face it, other then their driver and some fairway woods, Tiger played what he wanted.

Honestly I like Tiger and he is one hell of an athlete

Would like to see him win another major but seems to me when the back starts giving you fits is all over

Really don't ever see him catching Jack but IF he gets on a roll you never know

Tiger finished at -3 today. Good enough to finish around the middle of the pack in an 18 man field.

ETA: Tommy Fleetwood is the leader and in at -6.

The young guys are shaking their heads saying "WTF???" And the old guys are laughing at 'em and saying, "shit son, we had to deal with him at best....STFU already".

Small field of players but there are some big names in it.

Haha I can relate to the situation. Been in a very similar setting..."Don't shank it, Don't shank it, Don't shank it!" Nerves like I never felt playing all over the country in Junior golf.

On the original topic, I'm of the belief Tiger shot the exact score he wanted to today . Very fitting 69!

    Yep

He is no doubt responsible for the generation explosion. Glad

I was on 18 when he made that shot. The sound that came from 16 was unlike anything I’ve ever heard. It’s still gives me chills when I think about it today.

I would love to see tiger win this thing!

On a side note...my grandfathers construction company did a big job at that course last year and my brother was the PM. He said that place is off the hook. I tried to get down there, while they were there but didn’t make it.

His Dad prepared him to be a young phenom in golf. Hung him it out to dry on the being a man gig.

Good analogy, in terms of being "athletes".

In my experience, dads have very little say in how the "man" turns out.

Tiger's exploits off the course can be attributed to his money and fame. I don't know it was his dad's fault.
