    Default LED light bulbs

I was looking at some LED instrument panel light bulbs today. Are these bulbs dimmerable ?

I tried to put LED's in the dash of my f-150 and it screwed the whole dimmer thing up. Apparently it's designed to have a certain amount of resistance across all the bulbs in the circuit and the reduced resistance of the LEDs just messed it all up. I ended up getting rid of the truck and never fixed it.

Not to say that your truck will do the same, but I would do some online reading first. I'm sure you're not the first person to try it on your vehicle.

You didn’t do something right. Dash and instrument cluster LED’s have been out for a while.

I’ve used these on several Chevrolet’s when I did the gauge motor repair for sticking needles or inop needles.

I got disillusioned with it. I'm not sure what was going on but it drove me nuts, that's for sure.
