    Default Bergara b14 HMR

Anyone got any thoughts on these rifles?

Absolutely love mine! Tack driver and extremely solid in the hands.

Probably pick up another one this spring.

Had a HMR and B14 Hunter. My thoughts are this:

Tikka T3x CTR and don't look back. I had an issue with the B14 Hunter. Called Bergara. Worst customer service I've ever seen. Ended up ordering an aftermarket part to fix it myself and then sold both. The HMR shot OK...I was unimpressed with it compared to the Tikkas.

What is the price difference between those 2?

MSRP on the HMR is $1124
MSRP on the T3x CTR (Blued) is $1150

Shelf price on them is a good bit less but they're very close in price to one another.

The HMR on Buds is $915 and the CTR is $998.

If you use the price match option on Buds the price on the CTR is $887

HMR all the way. Smoother action, great trigger, and alum mini chassis throughout stock with adjustable comb. Have 308 and 6.5. My 6.5 is the most accurate gun i own. And I've had three of the Bergara premier actions too. Hate to hear about bad customer service from them. I deal with them regularly and have had nothing but positive dealings and heard nothing but the same until now.

Winchester match 140 and ELD-M 140. Shoots ELD-X the same. All three Group great with mine.
