Yesterday was the only day between last Monday and after Thanksgiving I would be able to hunt. I asked my son if I should try a new tree or hunt the stand he helped me put up. He told me he wanted to go and to try a new tree. Unfortunately I am not prepared to put him in a tree just yet. Hopefully Santa brings me a buddy style ladder so we can give it a go next season.

Made the shot slightly before 3:30pm.D6824878-5225-4C44-AF10-57725611E1C3.jpg

    Nice buck.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

Sportin, I have no idea what you're talking about. Thanks???

Lowcountry Boy, I'm using a 129 ABLR loaded by Precision Firearms. I tried the factory Hornady 123 SST but had significantly better groups with the ABLR.

They just had a significant price increase. https://www.precisionfirearms.com/m8...ong-range.html
