Default Public Water 20 ga Killin

Killed the first wood duck and while the dog was bringing him back, 15 gadwall came in with their feet doe. Killed 3 of them. Between the tide, fog and being stuck in the mud couldnt get the dog on the last one. Scratched out the other 2 wood ducks just before a boat rode by.....looked up and down river for the other gadwall for 30 min....i think he got picked up....when the guy rode back by he wouldn't look at me. Great morning had over 30 ducks decoy...wish I wasn't by myself....needed 2 more guns

When in doubt, shoot him again!

Work like it's all up to me, but pray, like it's all up to him!

“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

Curse the man that picks up another's duck.

    Excellent hunt.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
