    Good Lord at the football prophets on here. Not to mention the history professors and stat nerds. Clemson will win because of their D line play and because Carolinas offensive line is basically a screen door. The rest of this is all irrelevant bs.

    Nobody is "the same" when the best player in school history at the most important position leaves. What should be impressive is the coaches ability to modify their approach to fit this team's strengths and hide their weaknesses. If Clemson plays well for the next two weeks, they will be back in the playoffs for the third consecutive year. I would say that would show a lack of drop off.

    If USC plays a perfect game, they will keep the Loss to within 13 points. The only way this game plays out in USC's favor is Clemson turning the ball over early and letting the crowd get into it. They have had a knack this year for forcing the TO. If Clemson gets up quickly and big, this game won't be far off from last year.
