Quiet .22?

A spread out neighborhood, 3ish acre lots. Some folks want to pet and love the yotes and others want them dead. Elevated porch, heavily wooded area.

That will make shots up close and fun!

I’d look at a bolt action with a tube magazine. Will be cheaper and can shoot longs, LRs, and shorts. I use the aguila colibris. They are stupid quiet.

Just shoot them. One .22 shot, now and then, no one is even going to know what it is or where it came from. Just don't shoot more than once at a time.

The Ruger American and Ruger 77/22 are both great bolt rifles (and use the same magazine as the 10/22).

I used 22 CB's very effectively doing ditch tiger eradication at an apartment complex long long ago- waited until they were leaning into the dumpster planning their dive and zap- the ditch tiger dive was complete. Neighbors never knew.
