My dad turned the ripe young age of 86 Tuesday, and he wanted to do something for his birthday because he says they are truly a blessing at his age. I asked him what he wanted, and he decided on some Bar-B-Q. Decided to cook the butts today while I had some time, and to make things a little easier come Saturday. Only thing I will have to cook Saturday is 8 - 10 racks of ribs, and get the meat warmed back up. Got the grill fired up about 7 this morning, and had the butts on and grill closed down a little before 8. Time to let them roll for the next 8 - 10 hours.
