Get em out! Got to stake your claim.

Thinking about opening day on public water in SC brings to mind those velveeta commercials, for quite a few reasons actually!

I'm already sitting on 40-50 mallets. I've been watching them from a briar patch since Sunday.

Just throw out the decoys, hang a lantern and go home. You can pull up 5 minutes before shooting time.

Interesting how it has gone from a 'gaddy' to a pile of 'gaddys' (although I believe the correct plural would be 'gaddies'). Good luck, just always remember big talk is only cool if you can back it up and until then, its just that.

Also, I now picture kayak and his buddy with the fakes as the two dudes in the velveeta commercial... 'Our claim goes all the way down from the big dock with the light on it to the state park sign! Now go on git!!'

Haha, just giving you a hard time because based on your comments, its really easy.

I'm sure you have put in a lot of time to find what you have and hope that you kill a bunch of ducks. But, if you don't, you will have to face the music here on scducks...

I remember the days of hunting the hatchery in Moncks Corner. Get there and blast off at 3 and have the same dudes come in on you 30 minutes before shooting time every Saturday. Don't miss that.

I am aware of the music thing and this is why I hope no one is in my spot when I arrive.

I am not too worried about it because I had to squeeze my 14 footer under 2 trees to get to it.

I pray not to be shined when I arrive....

incorrect...Every other duck hunter I have ever seen in the area has a much bigger boat than me. I could barely fit under these trees and I had to cut some vines to get under a both of them.

I am hoping for the best.
