    Default Any Appliance techs?

Have a electric frigidaire range that's only 3 years old. Other night wife went to use the stove and nothing would heat up. None of the burners nor the stove element. It's a model # FFEF3018LWG. Any help would be appreciated.

    Breaker tripped?

Might be cheaper to replace if it's a Frigidaire.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I'd start by flipping the breaker(s).

If that doesn't work, I'd check the voltage at the outlet. Do you have 220v (two legs of 110) If so, take the stove out, kick it, shoot it and go buy another. If not, go flip the breaker again.

Tried the breakers first. Didn't help. Everything else was working just nothing heats up. Buying new appliances was already in the works and then this happened. Trying to figure out what's wrong to see if it's worth fixing to sell or just scrap it.

I'm with griffin. If you are half way mechanically inclined. YouTube it. If that won't do it...go buy a new one.

Check the power at the plug. I’ve had a breaker go bad and only supply 110v. There would be enough power to turn on the clock and other electronics but not heat the elements.

That’s funny. In all seriousness, I️ have repaired a washer, a dryer, a flat screen TV, and an ice maker with the help of YouTube. Google it.

I'll check YouTube tomorrow and see what I can figure out. It was just what the bank threw in this house to sell it. New ones have already been ordered wife isn't dealing with stuff not working.
