    Default Charleston Oysters

Looking for a place to grab bushels of oysters in the Charleston area. We do a couple get togethers with the work guys and always do oysters and BBQ.

We used to have a guy in Mcclellanville and get them right off the dock when he got back. The fella passed away so just looking to see if yall had someone. Trying to keep it local.

    Thanks

I got some McClellanville oysters from a place on Shem Creek once before. Can't recall the name, but it's right before the bridge on Coleman if you're headed towards Sullivan's.

Yep. Went to a roast a few weeks ago and they had gotten some from the Village, damn they were good.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

He still in business. Everything I've seen he has closed down his business.

    You could start a poll.

Damn Gulf oysters have zero flavor, might as well not eat oysters.

    Damn straight..

FL Oysters are like chewing on what I imagine a tire patch tastes like.

I have truly learned to appreciate the SC Caper's Blade oyster and several other varieties.. Best oysters I have ever eaten ?? Not even close, but 100X better than a Gulf oyster...

    Ban Cottontwat, someone.. please.

FIFY! Damn man I’m about one of the only guys on here who doesn’t get annoyed by you but you just did it with this statement. I don’t care to have you banned from this site but you should be banned from eating oysters for this shit.
