    Default War fighters; Roberts ridge

    On history channel.

Insomnia got me and I stumbled across this episode. I had heard the story and read a few pieces on it but to actually hear these rangers describe it is incredible. It's the QRF rangers that burned into a mountain top in Takur Ghar Afghanistan respondinding to a SEAL team.

Belated thank you to all of the veterans.

It was on history channel and evidently they showed 8 episodes last Veterans Day and 4 new episodes yesterday. No info for the new episodes in "on demand" search. Last years 8 episodes are "on demand" though.

    Sorry.

I saw 2 of the episodes last night. I'm not sure if they were the current or old episodes. One was about Rangers assaulting a training camp and the other about a K9 handler and his 2 dogs.

Those were new ones. Not as good as the Roberts ridge story but still worth the watch. There is an HBO documentary called "war dogs" or something that also talks about the dog from that episode but I haven't caught it yet.
