Default I'm done buying beef steaks fellas

I have never had a ham cut steak processed in my 19 years deer hunting... all I can say is damnit boy! Pleasantly surprised.

I made a batch of deer jerky from a tenderloin sliced against the grain, then marinated. Just took it out of the dehydrator and its mind blowing good

You sure seem to know a thing or two about this stuff.

Won't be able to convince me personally that it tasted better than a medium cooked ribeye with a pad of butter on top...

Marinate in butter on the stovetop just warm enough to keep it melted. Bout 45 min or longer. Sear both sides. Thank me later.

Medium ribeye?? Might as well cook it in the microwave.

I used to have that done, don't know why I stopped. I always preferred it to beef. And NEVER cooked it past medium rare. Ever.

Rodney, I'll have to try that neck steak thing.

    Looks good little fella.

Don't try and set someone straight with a statement like this. And don't try and say you let off the "rare" after medium. You need a kick in the neck.

Most people don't know what a rare, medium rare, medium steak looks like.
