    Default Spoiled this week

Killed my first buck on Friday with a rifle Deer #1.jpg

Figured I would give it a shot with the bow and killed my first buck with a bow tonight. Watched him run straight into a tree about 30 yards from where I shot him and he didn't get up Deer #2.jpg

You better quit now because it probably won’t get any better.

I'd go with a wrist rocket and some rocks next.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Congratulations! Lot of big deer being killed in that area recently. The Black Mingo facebook page has some good ones on it.

    nice work....

so, tell us. after experiencing two amazing "firsts" like that. what was the difference? I am just curious.

Obviously, you are "new" to hunting. You killed two fine deer with different weapons in different situations. Many that I know of switched to the bow after getting kind of bored with a rifle. You cant be bored yet!! So, i'm just curious, from your perspective, what you perceived different about each experience.

He doesn't need a lottery ticket, baseball is his ticket, good job on both.

    Congrats.

maybe the rifle buck was like a shutout and the bow buck was like a no hitter

    either way, congrats
