So you're saying you wouldn't go on a father daughter trip and put her up in a fleabag motel with no tv?

Many of us say that same prayer, RH. Great news for you all and that young couple appears to be on the right path already.

Is this a Madea reference? If so, well done, sir.

And congrats, RH. And you're dead-on about being perfected through Christ.

Glad to hear his proposal went off without a hitch, and your daughter has a good man. In this society today, that is my biggest concern for my son, and any other children my wife and I may have, is finding a Godly spouse. Lord knows we will do our part to make sure our son is raised with respect for others, good morals and a love for our Lord.

I have those same fears. I think I've raised a respectful, hard-working man but I just hope he can find a young lady that admires those traits rather than tattoo-laden meth-head with unique ability to set off a metal detector.

Good stuff, RH. Congrats to them and kudos to you.

Cool deal. I once married a stunning young lady of Yankee heritage. When I asked her Dad for her hand he looked at me as if I was crazy. Had no idea the premise behind that but gave me the A OK.
