    Default Weather Station

I have always been on fascinated with weather. I am looking to purchase a weather station for my house to keep up with weather trends for hunting. Tired of relying on what the weather man says. Looking for what i would call the basics: barometric pressure, wind direction and speed, temperature, rainfall, ect. The more the better of course but don't want spend more then $200. I like the idea of it linking up to where I can view conditions from my phone but that is not a necessity. Any recommendations or ones to stay away from would be greatly appreciated.

I got an accurate about 18 months ago. Worked great for about 13 months and then started killing batteries pretty quick, now it lasts less than a week on 4 AA. It has a solar deal on it to keep it going but obviously it doesn't work. Going to start looking for something else as I love being able to keep up with rainfall without dumping a gauge.

Bumping this back up. I'm in the market for a home weather station. Any additional recommendations or thoughts?

For rainfall across different counties etc I use pocket rain gauge app by morning farm report. You can set
Up a free account and the delineate areas (farms,
Clubs, tracts, whatever) with a simple polygon. Name it and list it under you "farms".

It is accurate enough for me. Sometimes it's dead balls on when I check it against my conventional gauge at home. Some counties across the state also have live weather stations at most fire departments that you can check online.

Just something to throw out there
