    my next one will be a four stroke. Prob a hatsu too.

    Love mine. Only thing I would change is the location of the trim tab. Yamaha did a lot better job on that.

    I've been running a four stroke 25 Yammie ever since they came out with them about twenty years ago. The two I have had are bullet proof! I would not even consider going back to a damn smoking, noisy ass, gas guzzling four banger!

    How is it speed wise compared to your old motor?
    Sea Ark 1542 w/ Yamaha 40

    I went with the 30 because of a weight issue. I'm not suppose to open it up yet, but I did anyways just for a second. Got to 35, but the boat was bouncing bad. I've moved the motor up since, but haven't put it back in the water yet. I think once I get it set up, I'll get 38 out of it.
