    Default automatic locks

So when I bought my truck (01 2500HD) the locks were programmed to NOT lock unlock when you put the car in D/P or lock at 10MPH or whatever it is. I went out there today to mess with the programming to see if I could get it back to the automatic lock/unlock. I can get it to lock but it doesn't unlock when I put the car in park and turn off the ignition. I know it's programmed right and I imagine this is why the previous owner reprogrammed it not to be automatic. I checked all the fuses...what else could it be?

That is in the computer system of the truck and unless you have a programmer to hook up to the data port under the steering column, you will need to take it to a dealer to reprogram.
I only hunt on days that end in "y"!

    Disconnect the battery.

    Re-attempt.
