    Default 1902 Winchester Still Works

This old hand me down 33 caliber hasn't killed for quite a few years. Just wanted to see if it still could do the job. Took this spike at 8 yards.

    .30 cal?

I've got one that was passed to me from my grandpa. I've always wanted to try and deer hunt with it.

Old school is cool. Good job.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

33 WCF cases can be made from .45-70 brass. I bought some from Buffalo Arms about a year ago, the only place I could find them. It uses a 200 gr. 338 bullet. I do have a couple of boxes of original 33 ammo, but they are worth to much to waste.

awesome- you need to do this every year- I read up on it- they quit making the rifle in 1936 and quit making factory ammo in 1940- you have a rare gun for sure.

I will as long as they keep coming in to 8 yards. No scopes for this gun.
