    Default B35w is holding back

Not much of a story. Be honest with you I've been pretty frustrated lately not seeing any shooter bucks. I had a good feeling about this morning though. I got out of the truck and it was 37°. Walked to the stand with no flashlight. Wind was perfect.

I sat quiet till about 8 o'clock and hit the grunt call and I caught him out of the corner of my eye about two minutes later walking around in the pines. I could see antlers through the branches so I knew it was a shooter. He stepped out at about 25 yards and I let it ride. He ran probably 15 yards and piled up.

I have certainly seen people take much bigger deer but I got admit this is my biggest and I'm certainly ecstatic about it. He's got some cool character and like I said it was just one of those mornings where everything worked out perfect.

Congrats dude! Don't let anyone try to take anything away from it. They're a bunch of fags.

Good ol Wendell. He's a good guy. Wouldn't call him perfect.

And that's impressive calling a deer that size out of your eye. Figured with his size you would have know he was in there this whole time.

And what was Horan doing out there without permission? Lucky he didn't get "rode" as well.

    Congrats on a good one.

Great buck!! Congrats buddy!! Those would be his forehead glands. Sniff em one time for real, not near as spunky as the tarsals but close when dark like that usually.

Ah, Makes sense. He still had bark all over the bases of his antlers from where he had been rubbing.
