    Are they completely gone or does it just need to be chased with a tap/die?
    I take an PLB in the shower with me. Can't ever be too safe.

    They are still there. Choke would back out easily. Thought it was the choke changed chokes, and first shot the whole choke shot out. But you can feel threads, and choke will screw in.

    I would just have Benelli fix it under warranty. Granted it will not be timely.

    There is no fix for this that won't be extremely costly. Can try to make a warranty claim but you will likely foot the bill because it's due to shooting with your choke loose

    You ought to fix it with that badass , Cadillac lathe. Let me know when you get ready to sell it , I got a few folks looking for one.

    Easy fix. Cut barrel and retap. William at Sumtoy or Comp N Choke.
