I'd rather shoot them SMDH. Any certain model that won't break the bank.

If you cant kill a turkey, a Coyote is going to be a real challenge for you.

Best bet - hire a trapper.

i understand that calling them in may be the cool internet way, but just shoot the bastards on sight around here.

eta: no $1,500 precision rifle systems were used in this experiment

Domestic cat in a trap with a piece of fishing line tied to a hind leg. Welding gloves required.

Yank on it and they come running. A semi auto 22 is your friend.

Lab the trapper that helps us uses roadkill, and traps the ever loving crap out of em every year. Only way to really wear em out is trapping. The calling deal is not going to put a dent in em.

Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

I have a fox pro, I use it mostly for crow hunting....I will second to spend the extra money and buy a quality caller to begin with.

I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

Note on the roadkill, I asked a GW about using a road kill deer for bait (out of deer season) and he said no way, I would be in possession of a deer out of season and would get charged. The way it's going with them new deer tags, be careful.

are you saying to not get the low end FoxPro but to spend more on a better FoxPro?

I've got a Primos Turbo Dogg I use mostly for crow hunting but I have used it for coyotes with some success. I like it a lot. The remote has good range, has an easy to read screen and and is plenty loud. It comes with a good variety of sound tracks and you can upload new ones easily. It has some smart features like programmable hot buttons to switch calls instantly without having to scroll through a menu.

Foxpro is definitely the brand by which all others are compared but if you don't want to dump a lot of cash on an experiment, there are cheaper options.

As already mentioned, you aren't going to dent the population by rifle hunting them. It is damn easy to educate them and never get a shot off.
