Has anyone done business with Rob Roberts Custom Gun Works? If so, opinion?

Is there anyone in SC that does this type work?

    Thanks

Just got an M2 back from him. Dip stock, cerakote metal, trigger, forcing cone, d&t. Haven't shot it yet but the work looks to be top notch and I'll probably send him another one here soon. Sent it off in early June, had it back just after Labor Day. Not cheap but I don't mind paying for quality

We sent 3 guns off this year and had pretty bad experience with them. They messed up something on every gun and have the worst customer service department I've ever dealt with. PM me for more details.

D&R gunsmithing did a great job cerakoting my Extrema2. Reasonably priced and much better protection than the worn out factory coating. They are in Moncks Corner.

I almost sent it to RR, but didn't want to ship and wait quite so long.

Edited because my phone likes to make up words.

Have dealt with Rob personally and had good experience.

Had a long talk with Rich at D&R in his shop today and was pretty impressed with his equipment and knowledge base. He is cerakoting a custom rig for me at the moment , see how it shakes out.

I have always been treated right by RR and work was flawless. I'm surprised to hear about the situation above.

I know of 25 weapons sent to Rob, and not a single person was anything less than enthused about what he did to their guns...

He’s done half dozen guns for me over last 10 Years and have no plans on going anywhere else. Never seen him hesitate to do whatever it takes to get a customer what they want.

Sent my SBEII to RR and have no complaints. Surprised/ curious as well as to what your issue was.

Seems to be a whole lot more positive interaction than negative that I see.
