I always get them last week in September or first week in October. I've NEVER had them on Sept 15th. They stop back by the end of April or first of may. They Purdy then! They ugly right now. Why the he'll don't we get an early wood duck season like nc? The wood ducks start getting thick again the first of October. They are thick now.

If I were the shot caller....there would be no Sept. Teal season. There would be a 15 day teal and wood duck season from Oct. 1st thru the 15th. Then I would bring in a 5 week duck season starting on thanksgiving and ending on Christmas day. 2nd split would be from January 15th thru Feb. 15th.
