At the processor where I work I check every deer that comes in before they unload the deer. One of the first deer that came yesterday I looked and no tag , before I could say anything the guy says what do I do with these tags, told him to get one on the deer before the man shows up. It aint rocket surgery.

If I shoot a deer in GA but have it processed in SC,are there any special rules to follow?
Ask the processor to call his local agent and let them know an OOS state deer is coming in so that there will be no chance of confusion/problem. This hasn't been an issue for me as long as I keep local agents in the loop with what is going on.

Also I can bet the man who got a max fine on a deer tag notch begged for it one way or another. In my area DNR has been very lenient with the tagging system this year.

This thread is better than the interstate thread.

Cotton will share a line, but not a buck tag.

DJA has apparently stuck it in his wife's friend.

This thread has it all. I've died laughing.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.
