    Default DIY outrigger mounts.

I needed some outrigger mounts, that would attach to my radar arch and I wasn't about to fork over $750-$1000 for a set, so I pulled out some raw stock and got to work. Started with this, plus one other piece of round stock.

Then after alittle lathe and mill work, I ended up with these.

Now I just need to figure out if they should be mounted up high or down low.
I take an PLB in the shower with me. Can't ever be too safe.

Whats it like to live w/o the Internet? Not bad, I get photos of your mom thought the mail....

I have nothing to add, other than I damn impressed with the craftsmanship based on the pictures alone.

Caddy the lines off the gunnel when you rig them. When you are fishing in scattered grass, which you will be at some point, you will know why.

    Those look great.

Any interest in making a custom center rigger mount?
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

This just a hobby or you work with these materials and tools on a regular basis?
