    It's the first time I've ever encountered a Gray Kingbird but they don't seem overly spooky plus he flew in and landed right above my head so he wasn't 12 feet away. I was very lucky to say the least. After he finished with the hornet, he stayed higher up and on the outside of the tree canopy never really offering any other shots. It's cliche but I'm better at lucky than I am good.

    I saw a falcon nail a teal out of the air on Saturday, it was pretty freaking impressive. He pushed the flock up and over the open water, then as they were going back down he bombed in and snatched one in flight. I just watched smiling wishing that I had a camera that could have captured it in detail.
