Weber Kettle and a charcoal chimney.

Take the other $900 and buy a rifle or something.

If looking for gas, check Holland grills. You can't beat their warranties.

Can't go wrong with a Kamado Joe or BGE. I rarely use my gas grill anymore.

Egg and a looflighter. If you can't get your egg up to 400 degrees in 5 minutes it's either filthy dirty or you are a woman and need to take up baking.

I've had this jenn-air for more than like a decade. I'm not sure if gas can be badass, but it's constant. I'm on charcoal to much, but if it's like something quick and easy I use it. Like sides and such, kids hot dogs.. i mean I've cooked grown up food on it.. but i don't brag about it. I've only had to replace grates once and the burners once, just for kicks.

Weber, chimney and propane lighter. If you go gas add ketchup to everything.

Weber is settling. Ask my neighbor who cooked a brisket yesterday, had to add coals to it 3 times and then finally pulled it off and finished it in the oven after 1 pm.

Weber is great for cooking a hamburger or a steak. Beyond that...there are better options for all around cooking.
