Anyone have any reports for this device?
Nobody?
I've only used the wifi version. But someone was using them for trail cameras and a couple people for keeping an eye on the camp while they were away.
Here you go.

Preesh.
I have 2 Arlo Go cameras working now. I absolutely love them. I have one watching over our camp trailers and another watching over a feeder. You do not have to have internet or WiFi , only cell service. It picks up any motion very fast and sends a text or email to you immediately. I chose email and get alerts all day and night when anyone or an animal is in front of them. There are camo and ghillie type skins available to hide it from sight. It has 2 way voice so you can talk to who you see. You can also sound a siren if you want from your phone. You can pull up a live feed anytime you want, check the library for past recorded events, and allow other friends or club members access so they can also see what is going on. The best price I have found anywhere is at the Verizon store in Lexington. The camera is $375 and service with them is only $5 a month. Call me at 803-351-9850 if you have any further questions or want to see it in action.

Can you post some pics? I would like to day and night. Thanks.
I just installed one last week.
I am very happy with it.
The cell signal is two bars and it still works.
I did it without a contract so I paid over $400 for the camera.
The night vision is not great in a field, but it looked good in the woods where the IR could bounce off of trees.
The dawn images are not great, but good enough for my purpose of seeing if ducks are coming into my pond.
The daytime photos are excellent.
The set up was super easy.
I skipped the $30 camo skins and put camo duct tape on mine.
I am using the free could service that saves videos for 7 days. You can download the videos to keep the ones you want. You can pay Arlo if you want to the cloud to hold them longer.
The other thing I am testing out is the battery. I have a solar panel in my jeep. I was going to install it but I may not. The camera has been running a week and the battery is still 100%.
Being in a low signal area and using the highest resolution causes the battery to run out quicker. I have low signal strength and highest resolution. The battery is still holding up.

Picture from just now over a millett plot.
Not bad.
I am incredibly happy with the pictures I get from people coming into our camp. It picks up movement from the time the front bumper comes into view until they leave in 10 second videos. It may be hard to read the license plate but you can see a person or vehicle good enough to identify. It is only 720p instead of 1080p. I am sure as fast as everything is changing that a lot of things will be even better soon. It does not have much distance in the night views, but I get pretty decent pictures of hogs, deer, and squirrels at my feeder 15 feet in front of the camera and behind it. It would be a little hard to count the points on a deer rack at night but still is a pretty good picture.

Edit to note. When the deer found the corn the videos came in often and the battery started dropping much faster. I put a solar panel on it today and l'll report if it works.

ABOUT how far is that buck from the camera?
"Only accurate rifles are interesting " - Col. Townsend Whelen
That's awesome.
Not far at all. About 5 yards.
It really is not far reaching with the infrared. It does work better in the woods bc the infrared lights bounce off the trees. The trade off is that you can use a solar panel in the woods. Maybe the ideal setup would be about 20 yards from a treeline so the treeline could be a backdrop but yoy can still get light to a solar panel.
