    Default A Good'n

6 days after putting out corn and 2 days after setting camera, I get this. Too bad this deer is in my back yard in a gated neighborhood. This pic was taken about 30yrds from my back porch.

Yes, I know the camera date/time is all off. It was last night.

I fail to see the issue with killing that animal.

30 yards from the porch, you can't make that shot with the bow?

I have every bit of faith that is a dead deer walking considering who posted the picture.

I'd climb that tree beside him to make it feel more realistic when I shot him!

Beauty! You are a better man than me if you don't try to stick him. If it stepped a damn toenail in my yard he would get flung at.

That joker would be on my wall. Good conversation piece for your guests...."yeah...got him with the bow right behind the house in 2017."

And if you don't bow hunt then I'd go this route.

I'd rather see if he stays around and how big he'll be next year...or the next. To me, he looks about 3.5, but no way I can be sure.
I haven't deer hunted in 7 years and I already killed one that is much bigger than him in 1999. I hope he stays around and grows. I might not be able to stand it next year.

Deer is definitely older than 3.5 and there is no way I could sleep at night knowing that SOB was that close to my house.

I do not think that is a 3.5 year old deer.

If that deer is 3-1/2 then I've got a 12" cock.

Well, like I said, I have no way to know, but I got about 15 pics of him and he does not look that old to me. Don't really matter cause I ain't gonna shoot him anyway. I got past the desire to kill deer years ago.
