    Highway 17 in South Carolina
South Carolina's Highway 17 was named the fourth most dangerous road in the US by Skyscanner.
Covered with a canopy of trees in some stretches, the road is stunning. Yet it also has a plethora of sharp, blind curves and a lot of wildlife (like deer and mountain lions) that have been known to jump right out of the trees and in front of your car.

    Internet says so.
I laughed out loud at this'n

I can guarantee you there are a bunch of cougar sightings in Sun City but that's a house cat. Now if you want to talk bears and 40 Acre Rock, I believe there might be a small resident population in that area. Several confirmed sightings there every year and even some folks claiming to see a momma bear with cubs.

Lawd have mercy. Let me guess, were all of the sightings of black mountain lions?

The topic was a hot one on face page. Sightings at the Ingle's parking lot in Duncan. One even cleared a car...

Thanks for the heads up. I need to really be careful and should tell my daughter since she often hikes and camps in the area. We're both pretty allergic to house cats.

What had happen was I had saw him befo hed seent me.

In all serious there is a growing group that is doing its best to get Mountain lions reinstated and protected along our East Coast.

A big FU to these guys, currently a buddy of mine, a large orange grower in Fl has seen his cats on the orange groves and swamps increase in size from around 75 pound averages to 120s. He swears the Florida Game and Fish has been aiding in relocation of Western Cats. He says it was great as it knocked his feral hog problem down but now they are wackin his Osceolas.
