    City part of Monroe sucks. Further out you get is pretty good. Still awaiting a white sauce recipe

    Drive through Monroe everyday for work. It sucks. Just glad I don't have to drive through the construction for the 74 bypass. That section is a joke now.

    My dad grew up on a tobacco farm in Whitakers. Vinegar and pepper is the only way to treat pork. The rest hides the flavor and is crap. The mustard based slaw is heaven on this earth.
