The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Why?
I would hate to have to keep that thing clean. Especially using black powder instead of Pyrodex. Even using Pyrodex it's gonna be hard to keep it clean.

Because it's relatively quiet and legal without a bunch of paperwork and a long wait. Once you shoot suppressed, it's hard to go back.
The model pictures are interesting.
Pretty neat

Oh I have, I own a can and I agree. But a muzzle loader? A muzzle loader to me is wanting to hunt in an earlier historic era before cartridges and smokeless powder. That's the joy of it and it's why I hunted with one for years. It wasn't just to lengthen my season, if I wanted meat I could get plenty of that during the rifle season. It was all about doing it the way our ancestors did. I never cared for the inline muzzle loaders or scoped muzzle loaders. To me that was the same as hunting with a Ruger No. 1 or any other single shot rifle.
