doe/ deer tags?
Honestly when they stopped making does legal all the time with archery, I quit bow hunting.
Fuck the gubment and their endless pointless rules.
I wish and hope somebody is gonna use one or three at the house this weekend. Could have killed 4 with a slingshot off the porch yesterday evening. Got way too many eating everthing and anything
Gettin old is for pussies! AND MY NEW TRUE people say like Capt. Tom >>>>>>>>>/
"Wow, often imitated but never duplicated. No one can do it like the master. My hat is off to you DRDUCK!"
Guess I need to brush up on the rules. I didn't realize that does were no longer free game during archery season.

Well, I don't have the scroll with me at the moment but ill be starting with the earliest date Doe tags. I meat hunt with the bow then I hunt horns with the rifle from Oct 11th through nov. 15th. Then I go back to meat hunting.
As in the past, all residents may purchase up to 4 individual antlerless tags for $5 each. Tags are valid on any day beginning September 15 in Game Zones 2, 3, 4 and October 1 in Game Zone 1 until the end of the deer hunting season.
Resident archery hunters may use any of the date specific tags to take antlerless deer on any day during archery only or primitive weapons seasons beginning September 15. The archery notation and actual date must be validated on the tag. Once used, however, these tags would no longer be available for use during firearms season on the designated date.
I plan on hunting till 10am on Saturday morning or until I run out of arrows.
Seems like it would be good to use your last tag first that way by the end of the season you probably wont see as many deer or you're tired of going or you will be duck hunting instead.
The dates specified on the tags for this season are: Oct. 7, 14, 21, Nov. 11, 18, 25, Dec. 9, and Jan. 1
I'll be using Oct 14 and 21. After that if I happen to kill one on a date specific day that's cool, if not I have personal tags.
Doesn't it say on the tags you can use them with archery anytime?
My thought was that I might actually kill a doe on the 7th. I know during the 14th and 21st I'll be waiting on a buck or hunting WMA where this in no way in hell I'm dragging a doe that far.
But I guess the way the math works out it really doesn't matter so I would use the either 7, 14 or 21 at anytime during the primitive season. It would still be the same unless I can't use the Oct 7th tag on say Oct 10th?
I have more available tags than I'm going to use, so I didn't get too involved in my reasoning at first. And now you have me thinking way too hard about scenarios that won't ever be a problem which is the foundation of argument for any anti deer tag person. I'm not sure what to think now.
Perplexing, isn't it?
We'll be OOT on two Saturday's in Nov so we'll use Oct 7 then the two November ones. From there, Jimmy cracked corn and we don't care.
i'll be using the Jan 1 as i know i will not hunt then
Don't much matter when you won't be able to read what's on the tags anyhow.
Left 'em in my truck, bo.
